Responsibilities and QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation
- Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver materials to customer sites on time, providing excellent service.
- Additional training such as Forklift and other equipment may be required.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipment.
- Delivery & Customer Service
- Unload materials at delivery locations, verify deliveries against packing slips.
- Ensure deliveries handled professionally, representing company positively.
- Ability to unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials.
- Safety
- Adheres to all driving regulations, including wearing a seatbelt.
- Maintains clean, safe, organized warehouse environment.
- Follows all safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
- Uses proper lifting techniques.
Wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Communication
- Must attend and participate in all required meetings.
- Training Requirements
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
- Physical Job Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation.
- Frequent driving or sitting for multiple hours a day.
- Occasional lift/move up to 80 lbs, climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling carts over varying distances and surfaces, sometimes as a team.
- Must be able to learn operation of forklift and other vehicles and tools like dollies, flat carts, rock carts.
- Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties change.

- Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience.
- Works well in a team environment.
Reports To:
Branch Manager
Base: $25.00-$30.00 per year.
Full-time schedule, typically 40 hours a week.
