Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable franchised dealership in East Edinburgh, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. • Basic salary up to £41,000 depending on experience
• OTE up to £47,000 with bonus scheme
• Monday to Friday working pattern - no weekend shifts
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times
• Ongoing dealership and manufacturer training opportunities
• Potential to progress towards Master Tech status
• Supportive team environment in a large, well-equipped dealership

• Completing service and mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostics and live data
• Accurately completing job cards and relevant paperwork
• Advising customers on additional repairs or faults identified
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently and correctly the first time
• Maintaining a professional and punctual attitude
• Possessing a strong work ethic and pride in workmanship

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent
• Dealership experience preferred but all levels of technicians encouraged to apply
• Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification advantageous
• Own tools necessary for the role
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge
