Our specialist Not-for-Profit team provides distinctive audit and advisory services across four sectors – charities, education, housing, and pensions. ** About the role
*** As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will lead multiple audit engagements, overseeing and developing junior staff.
* You will work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service.
* You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and can expect to work with senior level staff.
* You will work closely with Senior leaders up to Partner level.
* Qualified Chartered Accountant or Part Qualified
** Not-for-Profit sector audit experience or a genuine passion for working in this sector.
* Experience of leading external audits from planning through to completion.
* Technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102 and Companies Act
* Experience of managing, training and coaching audit trainees.
* Experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages.
* Technical knowledge of relevant SORPs would be valuable, but not essential.

Our Nottingham office is located on the Ropewalk in the centre of the town surrounding by a number of other professional service firms. Public transport links means access to the office can be easy by bus, train or tram. Alternatively, there are a number of car parks nearby. The modern office is split over 2 floors with 1 floor of dedicated client meeting or team collaboration space.

Hot desking means the ability to sit in teams or to meet people from other service lines. Shops, restaurants and bars are all a short walk from the office meaning lunch, catch ups with other professionals or after work socialising are all just a stones throw away.
