Accounting Coordinator

As an Accounting Coordinator, you would be responsible for performing applicable retained Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
• Collaborate with SSCs and service provider, as well as partner with SSC to resolve disputes.
• Participate in the production of monthly accounts as directed.
• Complete month‑end responsibilities.
• Execute internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel.
• Report results to others and aid others to understand financial matters.
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support.
• Attend staff meetings pertinent to work assignments.
• Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

• General knowledge of accounting operations and aptitude for figures.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner and to listen to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy and providing positive, proactive solutions.
• Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using various computer software programs such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to listen effectively, speak and write English clearly.
• Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision during the initial training period.
• Ability to quickly analyze and solve problems.
• Knowledge of AP/AR practices.
• Office machines: operate calculator/10‑key by touch, copier, fax, telephone.
