Francis Marion University seeks an Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II to develop and maintain accounting systems ensuring compliance with GASB standards. The role performs professional accounting duties including financial analysis, report preparation, tax compliance, and coordination with internal and external auditors. This full‑time position in Florence, SC reports to the Accounting Department under general supervision.
Key Qualifications- High school diploma with professional experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or related areas
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with minimum 15 hours of college accounting courses (preferred)
- Three to five years of professional accounting or related experience
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting software
- Knowledge of GASB and GAAP standards
