Mandarin Speaking Accountant - renewables ​/ manufacturing

Opportunity for a Mandarin speaking professional to join a global leading renewable energy (PV) manufacturing company as Accounting Manager. Cost accountant background & experience is a strong plus.

Location: on side, willing to consider locate to South Carolina

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations with a strong focus on manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports month-end close activities, and partners with operations to provide timely financial information for business decisions.

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including General Ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost variances.
• Monitor inventory transactions and support physical inventory counts.
• Prepare cost analysis, variance reports, and other financial reports for management.
• Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Corporate Finance to improve accounting processes and cost visibility.
• Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred (not a must)
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and general accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing startup.
