J & J Air is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our growing operations team. • Reconcile credit card and vendor purchase transactions
• Enter and verify transactions upon receiving proper approval
• Perform data entry and verification to maintain accurate records
• Systematically track and monitor job costing
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy within our system
• Post journal entries and suggest process improvements
• Work closely with office and accounting manager
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years prior data entry and accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books software
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Part Time: 20 – 24 hours per week
• Flexible schedule – 4 or 8 hour shifts available
