Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Dean, this position provides a wide variety of complex and responsible administrative support services for full‑time faculty and staff and adjunct instructors at the Berkeley campus; it interprets operating policies and administers duties in a capacity that necessitates independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service and positive student engagement.
  • Provides administrative support to the Dean’s office and support for TTC community events.
  • Has oversight of classroom readiness and monitors office communication.
  • Assists with campus course scheduling and instructor database.
  • Handles multiple projects simultaneously and is the primary contact with other divisions, colleges, students, faculty members, and the community.
  • Provides temporary support to the CDL program on the Thornley campus until the Berkeley campus renovation is complete.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus work experience directly related to the area of employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of institutional guidelines for completing supporting documentation for full‑time and adjunct instructors, part‑time classified positions, and work‑study students.
  • Experience operating office equipment, distributing and collecting documents, and other items around campus.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders across all campuses.
  • Self‑direction, leadership, cooperation, and initiative.
  • Initiate and complete duties and special assignments with limited supervision.
  • Adaptability to work in an environment characterized by continual changes in locations, tasks, and information technology.
Other Requirements

Must be able to work flexible hours, including extended hours of operation during peak periods.
