Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Superintendent, administers, manages, and supervises a specifically oriented correctional education school which serves program enrollment of student by utilizing an individual prescribed instructional curriculum, directs all activities involved in the educational programs.
• Performs duties governed generally by road instructions, objectives, and policies and involving frequently changing conditions and problems.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

• Must possess a valid South Carolina teaching certificate in administration at the secondary level.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in school administration.
