Job Summary:

Seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to support student learning and development.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic and personal growth of all students.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
