Pre Construction Manager

The Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all front-end project activities toensure accurate bids and smooth transitions to production. This role partnersclosely with sales, customer, engineers, contractors, and vendors to developcomprehensive bid packages and winning project proposals. The position ensureseach project is fully scoped, accurately priced, and positioned for operational success within the Myrtle Beach market and regional territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide plan and manage onboarding for new Estimators in the branch
• Review and complete bid packages and engineeringreports, identify additional service opportunities, source supporting contractors,collect and review quotes as needed, identify opportunities to clarify information (RFIs) and set expectations with the customer
• Review multi-site, customer specific RFPs to summarizekey details to set up the entire project for all PMs working the same projectat multiple sites (the Program Abstract) for consistency and accuracy
• Completebid forms (Schedule of Values (SOVs), Project Schedule, and Milestones) and presentproject with Sales to the customer
• Research and account for local and state permitting costs for all needed projects andhelp acquire permits to include in the bid package
• Createconsistent support for go-to-market strategy across all branches, including accurate pricing for services
• Lead project completion reviews to identify lessons learned, connecting directly to customer expectations and to apply to future projects
• Participate in customer and industry events to educate on and promote Renovia capabilities
• Attendpre-bid meetings and site walks with sales and engineering partners
• Solicit quotes from vendors and subcontractors for labor, materials, and equipment
• Developtake-offs, detailed cost estimates, and SOVs
• Presentto clients, engineers, and boards of directors alongside Sales members
• Partner with production to ensure seamless project startup and documentation handoff
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and engineering partners
• Provide plan and manage onboarding on new Estimators in the branch

Education / Knowledge / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or like education preferred
• 5+ years of experience in commercial waterproofing, coatings, or restoration estimating
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with web-based estimating software preferred
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore or similar project software
• Proficiency in reading and deciphering project manuals and drawings
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft suite
• Travel up to 25-50%, including overnight travel for regional job walks, vendor meetings, pre-bid conferences
