What you will do:

• Manage all architectural needs to support division operations.

Responsibilities:

• Gather necessary information, including code interpretations, for introducing new home designs into communities.
• Follow established QC processes.
• Complete scope of work summaries for each project.
• Manage and coordinate standard plan submittals.
• Coordinate plan maintenance for division needs.
• Manage ARB submittal and approval processes.
• Perform CAD duties, including managing drawings in CAD systems.
• Utilize company-defined tool sets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure development of compliant working drawings from internal and external resources.

What you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction preferred)
• At least 5 years of architectural or construction experience
• Experience with CD development and construction
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD; BIM experience is a plus
• Knowledge of federal and state codes related to residential products
• Strong understanding of residential construction techniques, documents, and building codes
• Knowledge of structural elements and installation methods
• Familiarity with lean, value engineering, and costing principles (a plus)
• Effective communication and organizational skills
