Mechanical Systems Engineer will lead the conception, development, and refinement of complex mechanical equipment and related automation. This role focuses on improving reliability, efficiency, and performance across a range of engineered systems. The engineer will apply strong mechanical design fundamentals, advanced CAD capabilities, and analytical problem‑solving to drive innovation in system architecture and component design.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mechanical systems, an ability to collaborate across disciplines, and the skillset to move designs from concept through validation in a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop mechanical solutions and system enhancements that improve safety, reliability, maintainability, and operational throughput.
- Create technical design specifications and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Model, simulate, and evaluate conceptual and detailed designs using engineering analysis and CAD tools.
- Engage with internal partners, external vendors, and technical experts to resolve engineering challenges.
- Manage engineering projects utilizing robust design and project management methodologies.
- Lead the planning and layout of system improvements and new equipment integrations.
- Produce detailed component specifications, drawings, and documentation in accordance with engineering standards.
- Recommend and implement design updates based on testing, prototyping, and performance evaluations.
- Use analytical, modeling, and CAD technologies to support feasibility studies, and design optimization.
- Assess design feasibility with respect to cost, safety, manufacturability, and schedule constraints.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical specialists to ensure seamless execution and alignment across engineering domains.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant design experience
- Experience using Solid Works software
- Strong background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), preferably with Solid Works FEA package.
- Proven expertise in automation design and tooling engineering.
