OSP Engineer

Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities- Position is responsible for all outside plant engineering functions in locations assigned within the seven designated local area markets in WV. This includes outside plant planning and engineering designs, budgets, schedules, & records for the assigned CAFII projects. The engineer will create designs that support the FCC requirements for the CAFII.
- Responsible for planning, designing, upgrading and extending support of the network.
- Systems required include but are not limited to the following:
Infinium, Varasset, FROGS. - Work with CAFII planning teams to deploy CAFII projects on schedule.
- Must have a knowledge of AC/DC theory; aerial and buried OSP engineering; transmission engineering including HSI, fiber transport, and DLC.
- Experience in the telecommunications field with qualified exposure to various fields of engineering.
