Project Engineer, PE – Water Resources

Bolton & Menk is looking for a qualified Project Engineer, PE to support the Water Resources team in municipal stormwater capital improvement projects, stream and wetland restoration, dam rehabilitation, and comprehensive watershed studies.

Based in one of the following locations:

• North Carolina – Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Kinston, Holly Springs, Wake Forest
• South Carolina – Rock Hill, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Conway

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling, and design.
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assists with project design, preparation of plans and specifications, and cost and quantity take‑off estimates.
• Assists with plan reviews, stormwater pollution prevention plans, design of stormwater facilities, stormwater detention and retention design, water quality design, and stormwater management planning.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 5‑10 years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Micro Station, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8, and GIS.
