The South Carolina Department of Insurance seeks Senior Auditors/Financial Analysts for its Financial Regulation and Solvency Division to evaluate the financial strength and solvency of insurance companies operating in the state. Working under a Supervising Financial Analyst, you will review financial statements, assess risks, identify solvency concerns, and ensure compliance with state laws and NAIC guidance. No experience required; the department will train qualified candidates with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
Keyqualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field with accounting/auditing coursework
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Preferred: 1–3 years of financial analysis experience
- Preferred:
Progress toward certifications such as CPA, CFE, ARe, or CPCU - Ability to write clear financial summaries and reports
