Job SummaryLeading Heart Program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking a skilled CT‑APP with EVH experience to assist three employed cardiothoracic surgeons at Grand Strand Medical Center.
Qualified Candidates / Details- Graduated from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
- Have a South Carolina license or ability to obtain one prior to starting
- 2 or more years’ experience with all routine heart and thoracic procedures
- Understanding of clinic follow‑ups and post‑op outpatient care
- Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
- Experience in EVH and first‑assist in surgery required
- Responsible for daily rounding on patients pre‑ and post‑operatively, and conducting follow‑up assessments in clinic
- Expected call schedule of 1:3

Grand Strand Health is a multi‑facility health system located on the coast of the Grand Strand community. Grand Strand Medical Center is a 403‑bed acute care hospital serving residents of Horry and surrounding counties. It offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in the area and is a designated Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
The hospital has received awards from the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attacks and stroke.
