An established and rapidly growing company in the financial services sector is seeking a Vice President of Analytics to lead a high-impact analytics team overseeing a $3B+ book of business. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving data-informed strategy at the enterprise level.
You won’t be building models yourself—but you’ll need to understand them deeply. Your role is to validate insights, communicate them effectively, and turn data into business-critical decisions with speed and confidence. This is a hands-on leadership position with visibility across executive leadership and ownership of key P&L outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a $3B+ book of business with full P&L ownership
- Translate data-driven insights into actionable business strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, risk, marketing, and executive leadership
- Assess and validate analytics provided by internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and business relevance
- Present high-level insights and recommendations to senior executives with clarity and confidence
- Set the strategic roadmap for business analytics with a focus on long-term growth, scalability, and impact
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, finance, or related fields
- Strong leadership track record with experience managing analytics or finance teams
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex concepts into business terms
- Highly logical, mathematically inclined, and solutions-focused
- Proven ability to own outcomes and make autonomous decisions at speed
- Strategic thinker with a history of delivering results in high-impact environments
- Background in financial services, lending, or credit is a plus but not required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated success owning or influencing enterprise-level P&L
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-accountability organizations
- Skilled in presenting to C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI (hands-on use not required, but understanding is key)
