Position SummaryUnder general supervision of the Director of Media Infrastructure, the Media Infrastructure Student provides audiovisual support for all campus media systems, including classrooms, conference spaces, event spaces, and digital signage. Responsibilities include ensuring the audio-visual equipment functions properly, maintaining cleanliness of meeting space lecterns, providing preventative maintenance for associated audio-visual gear, routinely testing equipment, documenting issues, troubleshooting related equipment problems, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
Qualifications- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Apple Computers and Tablets.
- Ability to use all components of the Office 365 suite.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware functions.
- Basic knowledge of audio-visual devices and principles.
- Proficiency in connecting to peripheral displays and devices.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and ability to work independently.
- Punctuality and reliability are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
