Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Sam’s Club in Florence, SC is seeking a dedicated Merchandising Associate to manage inventory, maintain safety standards, and provide excellent member service. The role requires forklift operation, product organization, and collaboration with team members to ensure a well-maintained sales floor.

• Operate and maintain forklifts and pallet jacks safely in accordance with company guidelines.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Maintain merchandising presentation by zoning, rotating, and cleaning product displays.
• Conduct safety sweeps and report hazards related to forklift and material handling.
• Assist members with product location, purchasing decisions, and technology services.
• Process club pick‑up orders, ensuring accurate staging and timely completion.
• Track inventory levels, identify shrink opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Update required paperwork, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with managers, teammates, and other departments to prioritize tasks.

• 90 days of prior forklift experience with certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Minimum age 18 years.

• Customer service experience.
• Retail experience.
• Experience supervising a team.

Pay range: $19.00 to $27.00 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage and may include hourly premiums.
