Maintenance Technician

A property management team in Myrtle Beach is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to perform general repair and maintenance duties across residential units and common property areas. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting issues and completing a variety of repair projects.

Construction, remodeling, or general maintenance experience is highly preferred.

• Perform general property maintenance and repair work.
• Patch concrete surfaces and assist with minor repair projects.
• Repair wall damage, patch holes, and complete painting touch-ups as needed.
• Repair or replace door hardware, including door knobs and related fixtures.
• Complete basic repairs involving wood structures, trim, and finishes.
• Identify maintenance concerns requiring vendor assistance and coordinate service requests when appropriate.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within the scope of the position.
• Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Previous maintenance, construction, handyman, remodeling, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building repair and maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Successful completion of a background check required.
