The Sawmill Supervisor will provide leadership, training and development to a team of operators by managing the mill flow, resources and shift team to meet established performance objectives.

- Monitor and manage flow through all sawmill processes.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks quickly.
- Coordinate staffing and machine operation.
- Drive continuous improvement in uptime and throughput.
- Ensure lumber meets size control specifications while minimizing manufacturing defects.
- Ensure rough green packages meet established standards.
- Monitor process consistency and correct quality deviations.
- Lead, coach, and develop operators and support personnel.
- Set clear expectations for performance and behavior.
- Manage attendance and performance issues.
- Support employee training and cross‑training.
- Build team ownership of equipment and results.
- Coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
- Support preventive maintenance execution.
- Ensure accurate communication of equipment issues.
