Olsten Staffing is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join a leading manufacturing company as a Cleaner Operator I. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while developing valuable production and machine operation skills.
Position SummaryThe Cleaner Operator I is responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while operating various work centers and production equipment. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain acceptable safety, quality, and productivity levels
- Operate various work centers and production equipment as needed
- Accurately complete daily production sheets and job clocking records
- Verify production counts and maintain accurate documentation
- Learn and perform machine setups as required
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
- Identify and report scrap, defects, or production concerns to leadership
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and leadership
- Support a positive team environment
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Production and manufacturing experience
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely
- Understanding of quality control procedures
- Experience completing production documentation
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic equipment adjustments

This position is located in a manufacturing facility and may include:
- Exposure to noise and varying temperatures
- Working around moving machinery and production equipment
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes

Pay Details: $16.00 to $21.25 per hour
