Role DescriptionThis is an on-site volunteer role located at Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. As a Community Volunteer, you will assist with meal preparation, serving food to community members, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and supporting other team members. Tasks may also include organizing donations, stocking supplies, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
Qualifications- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and diverse groups
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene is a plus
- A friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Willingness to support Community Kitchen's mission and values
- Previous experience in volunteering or community service is an advantage but not required
