• Perform patient Care Management duties including maintaining an organized workflow, open communication, development and evaluation, performance improvement and staffing patterns during the assigned shift; ensuring compliance with unit standards, policies, and specific standards of care; coordinating patient care activities for the shift; competently managing employee complaints, issues, and concerns to optimize the work environment.
• Assess the needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data while providing appropriate age‑specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through setting goals, participating in educational offerings, and contributing to department growth and performance through hospital‑system initiatives cultivating nursing‑involved evidence‑based practices.
• Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families and visitors; foster interdepartmental and collaborative relationships.
• Supervise and ensure the use of appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff.
• Participate in managing fiscal responsibility of the unit.
• Utilize standard work in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Advanced Resuscitative Certification appropriate to patient population required within 6 months of hire.
