Position Overview
Veterinary Technician – full‑time at Okatie Veterinary Center and Hilton Head Veterinary Clinic, Ameri Vet Veterinary Partners.
Compensation & Schedule- Salary: $19–$25 per hour, based on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule:
Full‑time, 4‑10‑hour shifts, Monday–Saturday. Willingness to work at both hospital locations. - Locations: 200 Okatie Village Dr, Okatie, SC 29909; 109 Mathews Dr, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926.

Who You Are- 3+ years veterinary clinical experience; veterinary tech or assistant.
- Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology or Certified Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
- Passion for working with cats, dogs and their owners.
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting.
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.
- Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Skilled in IV catheter placement and blood draws.
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience preferred.
- Laboratory skills: running in‑house lab machines, microscope use, sample prep.
- Diagnostic experience including digital radiology.
