River Oaks Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. We are a progressive, team-centered practice that values high-quality medicine, mentorship, collaboration, and maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance
  • 4-day work week
  • No after-hours on-call
  • No weekends
  • All major holidays off
Structured weekly schedule:
  • 2 days appointments
  • 1 day surgery
  • 1 day urgent care

This structure allows you to practice well-rounded medicine while maintaining predictable scheduling and personal time.

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Eligible for (or currently holding) veterinary licensure in the state of South Carolina
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine
  • Strong communication skills with clients and team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented hospital culture
  • Interest in practicing a mix of wellness, medical, surgical, and urgent care medicine
  • Willingness to continue professional development through continuing education
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to excellent patient care
