Bartender Supervisor – Avista

The Bartender Supervisor will be responsible to oversee all the bar functions under the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager and training of its staff. Bartender Supervisor will take orders, make drinks, and take payments. Bartender Supervisor will be able to keep busy during non-peak hours by cleaning and organizing. Providing time‑effective and friendly service is a must.

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
• Validate proper identification for all guests being served alcohol
• Maintain required records of payments and tips
• Maintain a clean/sanitized environment at all times

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
• Must provide friendly and respectful customer service
• Must be proficient in multitasking
• Previous experience necessary
• Must be 21 or older
• In accordance with state law, all employees involved in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages must obtain and maintain current TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedure) certification.
