The Homegrown Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled, experienced, and creative Kitchen Manager to join our growing back‑of‑house leadership team. This role is the maestro of the culinary operation—guiding a passionate team, crafting memorable dishes, and ensuring smooth, efficient kitchen performance. With a strong sense of organization and a love for authentic flavors, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage inventory, uphold standards, and foster a culture where teamwork and creativity thrive.

- Oversee all back‑of‑house operations in partnership with the Assistant Kitchen Manager to ensure exceptional food quality.
- Create daily specials and communicate specs clearly to both BOH and FOH teams.
- Uphold all plating, recipe, and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and cost controls for the kitchen.
- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of all line stations and expo.
- Maintain all DHEC standards, including labeling, cleanliness, and proper temperature control for all food items.
- Receive deliveries, verify accuracy, and report issues to vendors and the General Manager.
- Contribute to a positive, team‑focused culture and participate in staff meetings.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional kitchen experience with significant management responsibility.
- Proven culinary skills and familiarity with multiple cuisines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑development abilities.
- Experience with menu development, cost control, and inventory management.
- Serv Safe certification preferred.
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred.
- Extensive wine knowledge preferred.
$55,000 – $65,000 annually
