Parts Counterperson

We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused
Parts Counterperson
to join our team. In this role, you’ll help retail and wholesale customers, technicians, and other team members identify and obtain the correct parts quickly and accurately.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Ford parts experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts identification and sales.
  • Accurately identify the correct parts and accessories using catalogs, electronic parts systems, and other available resources.
  • Locate parts in inventory and process orders for parts that are not currently in stock.
  • Manage special-order parts and keep customers informed of order status and availability.
  • Work closely with the Parts Manager and other departments to locate parts and fulfill customer and technician needs.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with inventory organization and tracking.
  • Process parts sales and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to customers and coworkers.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe Parts Department.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Ford dealership parts experience required.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify automotive parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, professional, and team oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn parts-management systems.
