A leading specialist contractor within the commercial construction sector is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to drive strategic growth and expand market presence across the South East.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded professional who can combine business development, relationship management, strategic planning, and preconstruction leadership to deliver sustainable business growth.

As Director of Business Development, you will play a key role in shaping the company's growth strategy while developing and strengthening relationships with General Contractors and key industry stakeholders.

• Driving new business opportunities and sustainable revenue growth
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with General Contractors across the South East
• Developing and executing long-term market growth strategies
• Leading and mentoring preconstruction teams
• Identifying and influencing project opportunities across multiple commercial construction sectors
• Representing the business at executive and industry levels
• Supporting the development of a robust and sustainable project pipeline

• Other commercial construction sectors with strong General Contractor relationships

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A proven track record of securing and delivering commercial construction projects
• An established network of General Contractor contacts
• Experience operating at Director level or within a senior leadership position
• Strong commercial awareness and strategic business development expertise
• The ability to balance relationship-building with commercial performance objectives
