Job Description

We are a tile and stone showroom serving architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners with exceptional products and personalized service. We are seeking an experienced Architectural & Design (A&D) Representative who is passionate about design, excels at building lasting relationships, and enjoys becoming a trusted resource within the design community.

This is a relationship-driven outside sales position focused on growing our presence within the architectural and interior design industry. The ideal candidate understands the design process, is confident presenting premium products, and thrives on developing long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, design firms, and commercial clients.
• Prospect new A&D firms while nurturing existing relationships to generate project specifications.
• Schedule and conduct in-person presentations, lunch-and-learns, showroom tours, and product demonstrations.
• Educate clients on product lines, design trends, performance characteristics, and installation applications.
• Work closely with designers to specify products for projects.
• Follow projects from specification through completion, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Collaborate with the showroom team to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and association meetings to increase brand awareness.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and project pipelines.
• Stay informed on current design trends, materials, and competitive products.

Qualifications

• Experience in the tile, flooring, stone, or architectural finishes industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in outside sales, specification sales, or Architectural & Design (A&D) sales.
• Existing relationships within the architecture and interior design community are a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and consultative approach to sales.
• Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Comfortable traveling locally to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
