This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Officer located in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property at assigned locations. Daily tasks include monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, managing access control, responding to incidents promptly, and maintaining detailed incident reports. The role also requires effective communication with clients and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications- Knowledge of security protocols, incident response, and risk management principles
- Experience with monitoring systems, access control technology, and basic security equipment
- Strong observation, situational awareness, and critical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for communicating with team members, clients, and the public
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure or emergency situations
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing
