Asset Protection Investigator

Job Overview

Salary Range: $21.53 - $26.91 per hour. This position is located at Saks Global's Distribution Center and reports to the Asset Protection Manager.

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store.
• Assess and help with emergency situations.
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal and external theft and fraud.
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all Asset Protection incidents properly.
• Prepare and complete reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training.
• Support and participate in store operations programs.

• 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection.
• A customer-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills.
• Ability to quickly respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs.

The hourly rate for this position is between $21.53 and $26.91 per hour. Pay may vary by geographic location and depends on market, experience and other qualifications.
