As a Security Officer Armed Access in Myrtle Beach, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe for unusual activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while complying with applicable armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
