About the Role

Barnwell Tissue Solutions is seeking an experienced Millwright to support and maintain our plant's mechanical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and installing equipment in a high‑performance manufacturing environment.

• Work as part of a collaborative maintenance team across multiple trades.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, piping, hydraulics, and other plant equipment.
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use rigging and lifting equipment to position heavy machinery and components.
• Align gears, shafts, and belts to precise tolerances.
• Inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with operations, vendors, and leadership to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation for parts, materials, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

• Minimum of 7‑10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with large‑scale equipment, such as pumps, gearboxes, piping, and hydraulics.
• Proficient in reading P&, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience across multiple trades is a plus (e.g., electrical, pipe fitting, welding).
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
• Valid and Unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and safety‑focused.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, crouch, twist, push/pull, and work at heights.
• Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery.
• Ability to see clearly at various distances (near/far, depth, peripheral).
