Rooftop Loader

Position Purpose

Responsible for loading, unloading, transporting and positioning materials on rooftops of residential homes and commercial buildings while upholding company standards for outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods, ensuring safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Facilitate safe distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs per company safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders, providing exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items up to 100 lbs and operating machinery.
• Good balance, comfortable working at significant heights on varied roof surfaces.
• Primarily outdoors on rooftops with exposure to diverse weather conditions.
• Must use required safety equipment such as hard hats, safety harnesses, and gloves.
• Exposure to loud machinery noise inherent to the position.

• Reliable transportation for commuting.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre‑employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA guidelines and proper use of PPE.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons.
• Forklift certification preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
