Restoration 1 of Horry County is looking for an experienced restoration technician with at least one year of hands-on experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage cleanup, or a related restoration field.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, On-call Rotation

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1 year of restoration/mitigation experience
Experience with water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and restoration equipment
Comfortable using moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, and common demolition tools
Ability to document jobs accurately with photos, notes, readings, and mobile software
Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Core

Job Duties :

Respond to water, mold, fire, and other property-damage emergencies
Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, equipment setup, monitoring, and removal
Assist with mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and biohazard-related projects as needed
Take moisture readings and monitor drying progress
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Document work accurately using photos, notes, readings, and job-management software
Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
Protect customers' homes and belongings while work is being performed
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Participate in the company's on-call rotation

Bonus Points :

IICRC Certifications such as WRT, AMRT, ASD, and/or FSRT
Experience with trauma/crime scene clean-up
Knowledge and experience with Encircle and/or Xcelerate job management systems

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally
