We are seeking an experienced Bridal Seamstress / Alterations Specialist to join our team.

This role focuses on high-quality alterations for bridal gowns and formal wear. It requires advanced skill, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with clients during fittings.

This is a position for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of getting it right - especially when it matters most.

You are someone who:

• Has strong experience in bridal and formal alterations (required)
• Takes pride in delivering precise, high-quality work
• Is confident working directly with brides during fittings
• Has excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

This is not a beginner role

This is not a "quick fix" alterations position

• Perform high-quality alterations on bridal gowns and formal wear
• Conduct fittings with professionalism and confidence
• Pin, mark, and execute alterations accurately
• Work with delicate fabrics, lace, beading, and structured garments
• Ensure proper fit, balance, and finish on all garments
• Meet timelines while maintaining quality standards
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Uphold Sew Fabulous quality and customer experience standards

• Proven experience in bridal and formal alterations (non-negotiable)
• Strong fitting skills and understanding of garment construction
• Experience working with complex and delicate fabrics
• High attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing craftsmanship

Salary depending on experience and is above average.
