Regional Prevention Service Coordinator - Pee Dee and Low

• Under the direction of the FFPSA Program Manager, identify services to meet the needs of children and families based on specific criteria and serve as an expert on the Department’s service array.
• Provide oversight of evidence-based practices (EBPs) and the service array for the Pee Dee and Low country regions of the state.
• Provide oversight and technical assistance to providers and internal DSS staff to support the effective implementation of FFPSA and other child welfare related services.
• Manage Prevention Service contracts throughout South Carolina, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Authorize and support FFPSA‑related services to ensure adherence with Title IV‑E Prevention Requirements.
• Monitor and track utilization, eligibility, and outcomes for services in the assigned region and present findings to regional leaders, providers, and DSS leadership on a periodic basis.
• Facilitate implementation meetings, calls, and engagement sessions to increase service awareness, utilization, and uptake of prevention practices.
• Consult with county and regional staff on the regional service array; work closely with Operations, Wellbeing, Permanency, and Safety departments; collaborate with community providers and other agencies to identify services and service gaps.
• Provide coverage for other regions in the absence of the assigned PRSC.
• Ensure that Personal Identifying Information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared, and disposed of; protect agency networks, applications, systems, equipment, and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Counseling, Behavioral Science, or Human Services and at least three years of professional experience or public administration.
• OR a Master's Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Counseling, Behavioral Science, Human Services, or any other field, with at least one year of professional experience in human services or social service programs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to travel to attend regional or state meetings and training.
• Ability to enter information into a computer; high tolerance for noise or irate clients.
