About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Robotics Engineer with a focus on AI Integration to join their advanced development team in East London . You will be responsible for integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities into robotic systems, enabling smarter autonomous behaviors and enhanced operational efficiency. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing AI algorithms for perception, navigation, and decision-making in robotic platforms.

You will work in a hands-on environment, pushing the boundaries of intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate AI algorithms (e.g., computer vision, reinforcement learning) into robotic systems.
  • Design and implement control systems for autonomous navigation, manipulation, and interaction.
  • Work with simulation environments to test and validate AI models before deploying to physical robots.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Develop robust software architectures for real-time robotic applications using C++ and Python.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex AI and robotics systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in robotics development, with a focus on AI integration.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with experience in robotics frameworks like ROS.
  • Proficiency with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
  • Experience with sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, IMUs) and data fusion techniques.
  • Understanding of control theory and motion planning algorithms is highly desirable.
