The South Carolina Department of Transportation is hiring for a road maintenance role across the state. You will operate and maintain equipment used in roadway upkeep and perform manual labor on rights-of-way, ditches, pothole repairs, and bridge work. Traffic control must be managed to protect workers and the public.
A valid driver's license is required; you must obtain a Class A CDL within six months. The position may require extended hours and on-call work during emergencies or severe weather.
