Operator III - Customer Returns - D Shift

Opening Paragraph

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.

• Significant amount of paperwork to maintain and organize.
• Pack all types of products.
• Label cartons properly.
• Stack cartons correctly on pallet.
• Order all packing material.
• Use of forklift and pallet jack.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift weight or exert force up to 50 pounds.
