We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a hospitality-focused Receptionist.
Primary Responsibilities- Answer and transfer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner; promptly and accurately relay messages and directives to the appropriate parties, providing information, directions, and assistance to residents, staff, guests, contractors, and vendors while performing clerical duties as assigned – often simultaneously.
- Open and close the reception desk, properly securing all files, keys, and equipment.
- Maintain office supply inventory and order as needed.
- Communicate promptly and clearly all messages and materials to appropriate parties through the business office.
- Create and prepare documents, flyers, copies, and correspondence for various building departments.
- Accept and record payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations.
- Attend in‑services and trainings as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- At least two years of reception experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and prioritize.
- Capable of focusing amid frequent interruptions and quickly pivoting between tasks.
- Technologically proficient with programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Chrome, Teams, Calendar, etc., and able to quickly familiarize with new programs, websites, and electronics such as printers, walkie‑talkies, mail/stamp machines, multi‑line phone systems, work‑order apps, etc.
- Pleasant, upbeat, and social attitude; handles requests, questions, comments, concerns, and grievances calmly and professionally.
- Experience working with seniors is a plus.
All new hires must pass our pre‑employment screening process, which includes a fitness‑for‑duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some roles also require discussing vaccination status.
