Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team!
Our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and employees. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and understands the importance of maintaining a comfortable home for those in our care.
ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
Properly handle and dispose of trash and waste.
Restock cleaning supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment.
Follow safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.
Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.
Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a clean and comfortable facility.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Experience in a nursing home, healthcare facility, or similar environment is a plus.
Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
A positive attitude and commitment to resident care.
