32.5 hours per week; 6.5 hours per day

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Supplemental training in safety and basic first aid preferred Experience with teenage students preferred Requirement:
Ability to establish and maintain effective public and working relationships Ability to relate to students in a manner to elicit their cooperation Ability to understand and effectively carry out instructions Ability to exercise mature judgment in controlling student behavior Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and adapt to a variety of situations. Overview: A school security monitor ensures the physical safety of students, staff, and campus facilities.

Responsibilities include patrolling buildings and grounds, regulating visitor access, de-escalating student conflicts, and responding to emergencies.
