Position: Senior Consultant EU Energy Market Integration (German/Dutch Speaking)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be working as a Senior Consultant on European energy market and system integration projects. In these projects, teams of experts from different European companies collaborate to connect the European electricity and gas markets. These teams need to define and design (inter-)national cooperation by developing methods, a common strategy, processes, IT tools, contracts, while keeping all stakeholders informed. Eventually, these processes need to be implemented in different organisations throughout Europe - which is a huge, complex challenge!

ROLE
  • Lead complex business and technology transformation program for leading organisations across the European energy sector, providing strategic advice and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable change.

  • Bring structure, governance and clear decision-making processes to complex transformation programs.

  • Anticipate risks and propose solutions to keep programs on track.

  • Maintain impartial oversight toensure decisions are made and progress is achieved.

  • Develop your project management and leadership skills, while working across diverse disciplines and addressing varied challenges.

  • Drive team success by actively pursuing personal professional growth while mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for analytical professionals who combine organisational skills with knowledge of people and a drive to deliver results!

In addition, the following profile matches you:

  • University Master's degree in engineering or business with excellent grades.

  • 3-5 years working experience; project management experience and/or experience of electricity and gas markets is a plus.

  • Analytically strong:
    You are structured, forward-thinking, and able to combine creative problem-solving with strategic insight.

  • Excellent communication:
    You mobilize people from different audiences, are an active listener, strong in verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in Dutch or German (C2), and professional fluency in English (minimum C1).

  • You have a clear link with the Netherlands, havinglived or studied here.

  • Engaged in extracurricular activities or secondary initiatives that showcase entrepreneurial thinking and a self-starting approach.

Most importantly, you are interested in the energy transition and have a clear desire to support building the future of European Energy markets!
