Position
We’re looking for a driven and results‑oriented Business Development & Account Manager Charging Solutions to support our business growth in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding Smappee's international footprint within the EV charging ecosystem. You will actively prospect new business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and convert opportunities into long‑term commercial success.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow your territory (The Netherlands) through active prospecting and structured market outreach.
Identify, approach, and close new partnerships with installers, CPOs (Charge Point Operators), facility managers, fleet operators, and real estate professionals.
Manage the full sales cycle: from first contact and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate follow‑up and CRM management.
Analyse customer needs and business cases to offer tailored EV charging solutions with clear added value.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities, translating insights into concrete commercial actions.
Combine working at our local office in Naarden with visits to clients in your region.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in hardware or technical solutions.
Experience working with EV charging, energy, solar, or smart building solutions.
A proven track record of developing new business and closing deals.
An existing network within installers, distributors, or energy‑related businesses is a strong asset.
Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English.
Commercially driven, resilient, and comfortable with cold prospecting.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of your region, and be structured in your approach.
Residence in the broad area of Naarden, willingness to travel frequently within your territory, and a valid driver’s license.
