Laborer The
Job Opportunity:
Laborer The City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Streets Division! This role directly impacts the safety and appearance of our city streets and infrastructure.
- Road Maintenance:
Patch potholes, seal cracks and repair streets using asphalt and concrete. - Traffic Safety:
Paint crosswalks, parking lines and maintain traffic signage. - Groundskeeping:
Trim vegetation and prune rights-of-way. - Manual Labor:
Load/unload heavy materials and operate hand tools and equipment. - Equipment Care:
Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in street maintenance OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid Texas Driver License.

Salary: $13.73 per hour
