SUMMARY
The Allied Health Studies Department at Stephen
F. Austin State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of the Graduate Athletic Training Program, beginning Fall 2026.
This is a part‑time or full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses while involved in clinical experiences or applied programs. It works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position reports to the academic unit head.
QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in the field in which the individual will be teaching is required. Terminal degree is preferred. Some fields may allow applicable practical experience to substitute for a Master’s degree.
Practical experience sufficient to teach at a university level, through teaching or profession, is required. Experience teaching at a university level is preferred.
